Hyper-desk

Hyper-desk was a sonic act that I got commissioned to develop, as part of the author project part of the hybrid-publishing program at Willem de Kooning Academy. This sonic act is about the form of living and working of immaterial and knowledge workers. This work sheds light on the issue of workplace for the work of immaterial workers, the workplace which does not exist or is not spatialised for the characteristic of the work. No specific working space required for the job that we do. So this work creates a soundscape, a narrative, and follows questions around the spatiality of working, around the notion of the ‘desk’ as a conceptual core.
