The Balloon is a project based on learning-by-doing practice, during the graduation studio of INSIDE (Master interior architecture in Royal Academy of Art in The Hague). The importance of this try out was to use the existing facilities/elements of buildings to create a suspended spatial possibility between inside and outside.

This temporary one-to-one scale intervention stood up in the access door of INSIDE studio and the shared yard of the academy.

The Balloon was made from construction plastic sheets and waterproof tape, and the strategy was to self-blow the balloon with the waste of warm-air from opening the studio door to the outside.
